Archibald M. Sam, with close to 30 years of experience in the public accounting industry, is the founding and managing partner of Archibald M. Sam & Company, a San Francisco based accounting and consulting firm.

foreign investments in United States, real estate transactions, corporate restructure, merger and acquisition, financial forensics and business valuation. A significant number of Mr. Sam's clients are multi-national entities with a number of them subsidiaries of corporations listed in foreign stock exchanges and conducting businesses in various states in the United States.
Some of the projects Mr. Sam has been responsible for include: representing a national known food and beverage client in a complicated multi-national and multi-state income tax audit involving transfer pricing issues, a 14-corporation restructuring involving United States and foreign corporations, a $25 million debt restructuring for the subsidiary of a foreign listed company, performing financial statement audit for a frozen food distributor with sales over $160 million, forensic investigation for a local bank on a $50 million loan default, and performing due diligence, tax and financial accounting planning for acquisitions of businesses worth over $20 million.
Before he founded his firm in 1986, he was tax manager with one of the world's largest international accounting firms and was in charge of the firm's San Francisco office's biggest international tax clients.
Mr. Sam has written articles that appeared in national tax publications, lectured in a local university and before professional groups and appeared on television shows discussing taxation of foreign investments in the United States, state income taxation, estate planning and real estate transactions.
Mr. Sam holds a master degree in taxation and a bachelor degree in commerce. He also holds the ABV (Accredited in Business Valuation) credential and the CFF (Certified in Financial Forensics) credential. Licensed to practice in the states of California and New York, Mr. Sam is both a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
