Joyce Tso, a partner of Archibald
M. Sam & Company since 1999,
has extensive experiences in
providing personalized
accounting, auditing and tax
advisory services to start up and
emerging business clients.
In addition to conventional
accounting and tax services, Ms.
Tso is also experienced in
evaluating the operation and
internal control of various
businesses and has assisted

many clients in improving their operational efficiency. Ms. Tso
represents clients before various tax authorities on income,
sales and payroll tax matters.
Ms. Tso has also been involved in projects on valuation of
goodwill in business mergers and acquisition, determination
of goodwill impairment, and asset valuation in estate and gift
tax cases. Ms. Tso has recently been heavily involved in
performing FIN 48 studies and assisted in preparing the
income tax accruals for a number of clients. Over the years, her
dedication has gained the company an enviable reputation for
consistently delivering high quality accounting professionalism.
Ms. Tso holds the ABV (Accredited in Business Valuation)
credential and the CFF (Certified in Financial Forensics)
credential. Licensed to practice in the states of California and
New Jersey, Ms. Tso is both a member of the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Business
Valuation Section of AICPA.
Ms. Tso is a graduate from San Francisco State University with
a BS degree in accounting. She is currently pursuing her MSc
degree in Taxation at Golden Gate University. Ms. Tso is fluent
in several Chinese dialects including Cantonese, Mandarin,
and Shanghainese.
